Autumn Tours In Pakistan

Autumn in Gilgit Baltistan of Pakistan is something to behold. This is the time of year when the trees of poplar, apricot, mulberry, peach, apple, and plum burst forth into a riot of color with orange, rust, and red hues. The clear and bracing weather offers the best view of the surrounding mountains. One can find pink, white, red, yellow, and blue flowers dancing everywhere in the northern areas during autumn.
It applies perfectly to the Gilgit Baltistan of Pakistan during the autumn season. Can you see a fairyland in your real life? Yes, you can, but only in northern Pakistan, during the autumn season.

01: Arrival Islamabad

Arrival in Islamabad and transfer to hotel. In the afternoon, we will go for the Islamabad and Rawalpindi city tour. Overnight stay in a hotel in Islamabad.
 

02: Islamabad to Besham

After breakfast, we will depart for Besham en route to visit the Taxila Museum and the archaeological sites. On arrival, transfer to the hotel. Overnight stay at Besham.
 

03: Besham to Gilgit

After breakfast, we will leave for Gilgit; en route, see the old rock drawings at Shatial and also see the mighty Nanga Parbat (8125m) before Chilas. On arrival, transfer to the hotel. Overnight stay at Gilgit.
 

04: Gilgit to Karimabad Hunza

After breakfast, we will drive to Karimabad en route and stop at Rakaposhi viewpoint. On arrival, we will transfer to the hotel and walk around the village of Karimabad. Overnight stay at Karimabad.
 

05: Karimabad

After breakfast, we will visit Baltit Fort and Altit Fort after an afternoon jeep excursion to Nagar Valley and see Hoper Glacier. On arrival, transfer to the hotel. Overnight stay at Karimabad.
 

06: Karimabad to Gulmit

After breakfast, we will drive for a full-day excursion to Khunjerab Pass and drive back to Gumit. On arrival, transfer to the hotel. Overnight stay at Gumit.
 

07: Gulmit to Skardu

After breakfast, we will leave for Skardu and will enjoy the picturesque landscapes of Karakoram. On arrival, transfer to the hotel. Overnight stay at Skardu.
 

08: Explore Shigar Valley

After breakfast, we will take a jeep excursion to Shigar Valley, and in the afternoon, we will visit the local bazaars of Skardu. Overnight stay in a hotel at Skardu.
 

09: Explore Kachora Valley

After breakfast, we will drive for a day excursion to Kachora. We will visit Shangarilla, lower Kachora Lake, and Upper Kachora Lake. Lunch at Upar Kachora Lake. After lunch, drive back to Skardu to visit Manthal Boda Rock and Sadpar Lake. Overnight stay in a hotel at Skardu.
 

10: Skardu to Khaplu

After breakfast, we will leave for Khaplu. We will visit Kahplu fort and Chaqchen mosque; the Mir Syed Ali Hamadai founded the mosque in 17century. On arrival, transfer to the hotel. Overnight stay at Khaplu.
 

11: Khaplu to Hushe Valley

After breakfast, we will leave for Hushe. We drive in jeeps along Shyok valleys before turning northwards up the Hushe Valley to reach the road. Head to the Village of Hushe, where we will meet Little Karim and other Mountaineers. On arrival, transfer to the hotel. Overnight stay at Hushe Village.
 

12: Hushe to Skardu

After breakfast, drive back to Skardu. In the afternoon, we will visit the local bazaars of Skardu and go shopping. Overnight stay in a hotel at Skardu.
 

Day 13: Skardu to Islamabad (By Air) or drive to Chilas

After breakfast, transfer to the airport and fly to Islamabad (flights are subject to weather). If unable to fly, we will depart for Islamabad by road with an overnight stay at Chilas.
 

14: Islamabad

If the flight has operated, then we will go for a full-day excursion to Murree and drive back to Islamabad. Overnight stay in a hotel in Islamabad. If there is no flight, the day will be used for overland travel from Chilas to Islamabad and overnight stay at Chilas.
 

15: Islamabad to Flight Out

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for a flight back home.

Please Note: Gilgit Baltistan flights are subject to weather and backlog, in case of flight cancellation we will travel by road, and one night of Islamabad will be adjusted in overland travel
