Winter closes most of the high mountains, but the lowlands and the desert come into season. These are the programmes with a published best time in December, January or February.

What to know about winter
- The camel safari's published season is October to March, the cooler months in the Cholistan Desert.
- The Kalash programme lists a December festival date (7–22 December).
- The TDCP Cholistan Desert Jeep Rally is held at Derawar Fort each February.
- Heritage cities such as Lahore and Karachi are cooler in winter; ask the team about winter dates for the cultural tours.
