How they differ
- Rakaposhi and Diran base camp: recommended in the programme even for novice trekkers, highest point 4,000 m.
- Rush Lake: a high alpine lake at 4,694 m, with a rest day at the lake.
- Snow Lake: a long glacier crossing that finishes in Hunza.
- Fairy Meadows trek: combines Nanga Parbat with time in Karimabad.
