Treks from the Hushe Valley Compared
Hushe village is the trailhead for three of our treks and the finishing point of a fourth. The three that start here share the first days and then diverge: out-and-back to Masherbrum, a longer tour of the side valleys, or over the Gondogoro La.

Choosing between them
- Shortest: Masherbrum base camp, with six tent nights and a highest point of 4,200 m.
- Longest stay in one area: the Hushe Valley trek, visiting the Masherbrum, K6/K7 and Gondogoro base camps.
- A crossing: the Great Karakoram Traverse goes over the Gondogoro La to Concordia.
- The other direction: the K2 Base Camp & Gondogoro La Trek starts in Askole, crosses the pass from Concordia and walks out to Hushe.
- No trekking: the Hushe Valley bike tour rides the road to Hushe and makes viewpoint excursions.
